CZAR FEST 2017<\/span><\/h3>\n

Friday April 14 and Saturday April 15, 2017 at Kaserne Basel.<\/span><\/p>\n

The small, but mighty Basel (Switzerland) based record label Czar Of Crickets Productions is well known for its musically open minded and non-commercial oriented ideology. In its beginning days, the releases were mainly focussed on metal bands. Over the years, many bands of various musical genres and styles have found their home at Czar Of Crickets. Nowadays, the label can look back at 50 international releases (with most of the bands coming from Switzerland).<\/p>\n

On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the label, the first Czar Fest took place at the Kaserne Basel in April 2016. The two-day music festival was a huge crowd-pleaser and the media also praised the festival for its underground charm and the musical range.<\/span><\/p>\n

After the successful first edition, Czar Fest will be back on April 14 (Revelations Day) and April 15 (Bullets Day) 2017 at the Kaserne Basel, Switzerland. The purpose of the festival is to bring together the best Swiss bands, regardless of their level of publicity.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, Czar Fest 2017 will host a Rock Art Exhibition on both days on the premises of the Kaserne. This outstanding exhibition will display the works of five great young artists (photographers, designers and sculptors). This mix of music and art already contributed to the success of the Czar Fest in 2016.<\/p>\n

The Czar Fest 2017 offers numerous highlights:<\/p>\n

\u2022 Our special guests, the fantastic Basel based band Zeal & Ardor, who is at the moment taking over the world with their black metal influenced american slave gospel, are playing their first exclusive live show on Revelations Day! The mighty and highly praised B\u00f6lzer from Z\u00fcrich will also play in Basel for the first time (Bullets Day)!<\/p>\n

\u2022 Lo-fi demotapes thunder rock weirdos AUTISTI featuring Louis Jucker (Coilguns, Red Kunz, Ex-The Ocean) and Emile Zo\u00e9 (Anna Aaron) will release their new album and play their first show in Basel on the Revelations Day. Sum Of R, ColdCell and When Icarus Falls will be playing songs from their new albums for the first time. In addition, When Icarus Falls will be offering their new album exclusively and one week before their worldwide release at Czar Fest.<\/p>\n

The festival will start on Friday, April 14 at 18:00 with the Art Lounge Opening of the Rock Art Exhibition. The first 100 visitors will receive a free Czar Shot. In Addition, DJ Dannyramone will rock the crowd in between and after the live shows on Friday and Saturday. And last but not least, Radio-X will be broadcasting live from the festival for two days.<\/p>\n
